The Center for Mathematics and Science Education has been a host site for the North Mississippi VISTA Project since 2012. VISTA members serving at the Center for Mathematics and Science Education dedicate one or more years of service to build the capacity of the CMSE through academic outreach, communications, collaborations, and other various methods to increase exposure to the STEM fields and improve STEM education for students as well as professional learning opportunities for teachers.
