Using Online Resources to Teach Science

Digital instruction is more than videos and online text. In this session, participants will learn how to adapt quality online resources to teach science concepts in both face-to-face and virtual classrooms. Resources will be shared using pre-recorded introductions, allowing time to explore each resource and complete assignments based on these guided explorations. Participants will investigate science-specific examples asynchronously and participate in two live discussions via Zoom with a focus on lesson plan development and using quality resources in classroom instruction. This course will specifically address issues with using resources in the science classroom.
